#68 Anything

The first rule of fight club: you don’t talk about fight club. The second rule of fight club: you don’t talk about fight club! Third rule: no shirt, no shoes. If someone taps out or goes limp, the fight is over. Two men to a fight, one fight at a time. The last rule: if this is your first night at fight club, you have to fight.
I’m not exactly sure why I started this blog like this. I have been watching The Ultimate Fighter marathon today. I haven’t watched it at all this season, but they showed all the episodes today. I watched some of them, but I have been trying to get my chemistry homework done so I haven’t been paying a lot of attention. I got hooked on the ultimate fighter last year or two years ago when Kimbo Slice was on it. It was finally a heavyweight division season. They usually have guys that are 170 or 185 pounds, so having 270 pound monsters on the show was a nice change of pace. I’m not a huge UFC fan, but The Ultimate Fighter gives you a nice look at how fighters live and what they think about going into a fights as well as during fights. I have always wondered what it would be like to be a fighter. I think I like the idea of training and being in fighting shape more than actually getting my face beaten in every week. I am one of the few people that love working out and challenging my body, so training like a fighter would be really fun.

  1. So as a kiddo, I watched boxing with my father and his friends every time there was a huge match. But now that Holyfield is out of the limelight... fighting has become the big thing now. I still miss boxing...

  2. I miss the days of great boxers too. I wish I could have watched Mike Tyson or Ali fight.
